FALL HAS FALLEN UPON ME

one of my main concerns about studying abroad was missing the fall at home. pathetic, i know. the colors of the leaves. the pumpkins. the smell of the brisk weather. all the things that i have experienced for the last 20 years of my life. i had not a clue as to what fall would be like in italy. i've found myself beyond impressed with the fall abroad. the leaves have made me smile more than some of those found back home. they are much more orange-y and yellow here. i love the way they look. though i have missed some of my favorite fall fun activities at home, there has been NOTHING in my whole life like this fall. next year i will be nostalgic for a fall like this year's. here are a few snapshots of my leaf covered autumn days in europa.
